Mumbai all- velki live rounder Tanush Kotyan to join Indian team ahead of Melbourne Test
velki live Mumbai's spin bowling all-rounder Tanush Kotian has received a call-up and will be part of the Indian team for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Melbourne on Monday. Sportstar has learned exclusively that Kotian will leave for Australia on Tuesday.
Kotian bats and bats right-handed in Mumbai's Vijay Hazare Trophy team in Ahmedabad.
The 26-year-old will head to Australia following R. Ashwin's retirement at the Gabba last week.
Kottian has been one of the best spin all-rounders in India's domestic circuit. He was previously part of the India A team that toured Australia ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series.
The 26-year-old played 33 first-class games, scoring 1,525 runs at an average of 41.21 and taking 101 wickets at an average of 25.70. He won the Ranji Trophy in Mumbai in the 2023-24 season and scored 502 runs at an average of 41.83 and took 29 wickets at an average of 16.96 and was awarded the Player of the Tournament.
