jwin7 live Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians has retained five players, including captain Hardik Pandya, for the IPL mega auction.


MI faced the challenge of retaining key players in India within a budget of Rs 75 crore but managed to secure its core strengths ahead of the auction.


Mumbai Indians are now left with just one match-rights card, which can only be used for uncapped players.


Who can RTM retain from Mumbai Indians?

Mumbai have several uncapped players who performed well last season and could justify the use of RTM cards in the mega auction.


Prominent among them are pacers Anshul Kamboj and Aakash Madhwal. Mumbai Indians would normally look to pair one domestic pacer and one foreign pacer with Jasprit Bumrah, who has been retained.


Punjab batsman Naman Dhir is also in contention, having shown great batting prowess last season.


Note: KKR and RR are no longer RTM as they have retained all six players.
