jeetbuzz bet  I love Rodrygo. I love him. We have a lot of good memories," South Korea's Son Heung-min said ahead of Thursday's Europa League opener between Tottenham Hotspur and Qarabag.

Son Heung-min said on Wednesday he had no ill will towards Tottenham Hotspur team-mate Rodrigo Bentancur, who has been accused of inappropriate conduct by the Football Association after he used insulting language towards him during a TV interview.

The midfielder could face a lengthy FA ban after the presenter of Canal 10's Por La Camiseta asked him for a Tottenham Hotspur shirt in June. The answer is: "Sonny's? Or maybe Sonny's cousin, because they all look the same.

"I love Rodrygo. I love him. We have a lot of good memories," South Korea's Son Heung-min said ahead of Thursday's Europa League opener between Tottenham Hotspur and Qarabag.

"He found out and he immediately apologized. I was on vacation and had no idea what was going on. He sent me a long text and you could tell he meant it.

"Then he saw me in training and he almost cried. He was very sorry. We are all human and we all make mistakes. I love Rodrigo and we move forward together as brothers. We just have to wait for the FA to make decisions Plan, that's all I can say.

Since joining Tottenham in 2015, captain Son Heung-min has scored 164 goals in 414 games. His contract expires at the end of this season.

The 32-year-old said he remains committed to ending Tottenham's long wait for a trophy that dates back to 2008.

"At this age, every second is like a goal, especially this season, we've played a lot of games, and I feel like I care about it more," Son said.
